The Best Chainsaw Games Cutting Trees for PC and Mobile Devices

The chainsaw is a unique tool and weapon that does not require stamina to use and only requires holding down the attack button to operate. It is powered by fuel, which can be found in various locations around the Peninsula. In single player, fuel respawns once you reload or reenter a cave. The chainsaw is currently the best tool for cutting down trees and removing tree stumps. Cutting down trees with the chainsaw does not raise your strength and athleticism as much as using an Axe.

The chainsaw can be used as a weapon though it's best suited for tree cutting. During combat, it will stun cannibals very frequently though it doesn't have high damage. On normal mode, it seems to be much more effective than the harder modes in the game. When attacking, it will slow the player's movement speed to about half the speed of walking. This can make it difficult to chase cannibals or 'keep the pressure' on. Its range is quite good though it has almost no area of effect (AoE) damage. One of the major challenges of using the chainsaw during combat is that, if the player is hit, it stops the chainsaw's attack, so the player has to reset the attack quickly.

chainsaw games cutting trees

Level 1 focuses on introducing the participant to open face felling and the development of techniques to safely use it. Topics covered include personal protective equipment, chainsaw safety features, chainsaw reactive forces, bore cutting, pre-planning the fell, and understanding hinge wood strength.

Level 2 focuses on maximizing chainsaw performance through basic maintenance, carburetor setting, and filing techniques. Limbing and bucking techniques are introduced, spring pole cutting is covered and more felling is practiced.

This training program is for woodland owners and workers who want to extract trees from their property safely and without the use of expensive professional logging equipment. With the use of an ATV, small tractor, pug, or something that can pull a tree behind, the wood can be pulled out in a low impact manner, with little or no residual damage to the property. The program focuses on choosing the right equipment and using it safely. Those taking the program will be instructed in proper chainsaw handling, learning to fell trees safely, with the option of removing the wood with their own equipment at their own pace. Game of Logging instructors will demonstrate the use of the equipment, how to set up an ATV for working in their woodlot with safety as top priority.

But why is it done this way? In many cases, it's simply a legacy hangover from the days before chainsaws - axes cut efficiently at 45 and cross-cut hand saws work best when cutting at 90, directly across the grain. With chainsaws, we're not constrained by this though.

So many people we've spoken to about felling our trees have told us stories of friends or family members who've been injured or even killed using a chainsaw. I'd highly encourage anyone who wants to learn more to investigate the Game of Logging and see if you think it could help keep you safe.

Our chainsaw has a reduced kickback micro-chisel chain on it, but it seems to have plenty of torque so he thinks that a different chain (which will probably require a different bar) will improve its cutting speed significantly. We're looking into this at the moment to try and find the right bar and chain combo.

Did you plant deciduous trees? We cover this in a separate tutorial. You need a chainsaw to cut them down. Because of the uneven growth of deciduous trees, it makes more sense, financially, to process this type of tree into wood chips.

LEVEL 1. Precision Felling Techniques. This workshop introduces open-face felling and the development of techniques to safely use it. Topics covered include personal protective equipment, chainsaw safety features, chainsaw reactive forces, bore cutting, pre-planning the fell, and understanding hinge wood strength. 8AM-4PM one-day course. Maximum 10 participants. LEVEL 1 COURSE OUTLINE.

LEVEL 2. Maximizing Saw Performance. This workshop focuses on maximizing chainsaw performance through basic maintenance, carburetor setting, and filing techniques. Limbing and bucking techniques are introduced, spring pole cutting is covered and more felling is practiced. 8AM-4PM one-day course. Maximum 10 participants. LEVEL 2 COURSE OUTLINE

5. To cut, simply hold down the "Activate" button First-Person Mode: Activate ToolDefault Buttons: LMB (hold) ?? ??. The glowing disc will turn green as the chainsaw cuts through the tree. It will disappear (or turn blue again) once the cut is completed. You can stop cutting prematurely by releasing the button - this will leave the tree unaffected, regardless of how deep you've cut into it.

You can remove branches by holding down the "Activate" button and walking up and down along the fallen tree, while moving the chainsaw around to make contact with each branch. However, if the chainsaw gets too close to the trunk of the tree, it may accidentally begin cutting into the tree instead. Be careful of this, as cutting a tree up accidentally in the wrong place can reduce the value of the resulting logs by quite a bit. If you see a blue or green glowing disc appearing, release the button immediately!

The first tool that you will need is of course a chainsaw (it costs only 1000$). Using it, you will be able to cut trees and trim them to appropriate length. There are three types of chainsaw in the game, which you activate by pressing [1], [2] or [3]. After choosing the saw, you can rotate it using [J] and [N]. To cut down a tree, the chainsaw has to be rotated a bit. Next, approach the tree and notice a blue circle on it, which shows you where exactly you will be cutting. Now you just have to choose the right place (the lower the better) and start the engine [hold LMB]. When you start cutting, the circle will turn green and the chainsaw will start moving automatically. After the tree falls down, you can cut it into transportable pieces. Remember to get rid of the branches.

When you have some more money, you can make the process of cutting trees quicker, by purchasing a special machine - Scorpionking (it costs 317 000$). Cutting trees with it takes only a moment. First, you have to drive close to the chosen tree, place the harvester in appropriate position and set the length [O]. Next, start the harvester [B] and press [X] cut. The machine will "grab" the tree in the chosen place. Then, cut as many times as you need, to divide the tree into even pieces (you can change the size of the log at any moment).

Planting new trees is the last task that you need to complete. Remember about being environment-friendly. This task requires you to by a special machine - PL 75 for 26 000$. You can buy seeds in the Garden center. Now, choose an appropriate place and start the machine. You will see young trees appearing on the ground. Plant trees in advance, as they need a few days to grow. However, this task is not obligatory, as there is a lot of trees on the map, but if you do a lot of woodcutting, they may eventually end.

Woodcutting is very time-consuming, but also very profitable. To start this business, you only need a chainsaw (1000$) and a machine for transporting logs (54 000$). The biggest difficulty here is operating the crane, with which you pick up and place the logs on the trailer. If you have the two best machines in the game, you can shorten the process of cutting to a few moments and the Buffalo will allow you to transport a lot of logs in one trip. You can earn a lot on woodcutting, but eventually the tasks may appear as very boring and irritating.

What do you get when you mix a chainsaw, a horse and a simulator? A 3D reskin of Cookie Clicker in a forest. Developed by SilentFuture (Zombie Gotcha and High On Racing) and released in 2016, Forestry 2017 is a game in which you run a woodcutting business and raise money to expand. You can then use this money to buy upgrades and hire workers.

Forestry 2017 is a game about woodcutting and the whole game is designed around that concept. You start off the game with a chainsaw and a horse and then you can chop down trees (there are three types of tree worth different amounts of money) and drag the wood from the tree using your horse to the warehouse where you sell it. You keep performing this routine to get more money and to expand your business.

The gameplay is Forestry 2017 is very basic. You use your chainsaw to cut down a tree and then you chop the tree into smaller pieces. You then drag the pieces of tree one by one using your horse to your warehouse where you sell them for money. The amount of money that they sell for is dependant on the type of tree. There is no difficulty involved in cutting down trees and there is a set path that the chainsaw follows meaning that you can't go wrong. 2ff7e9595c
